Daria
"Daria Sauvage" ist aus einer Ausstellung mit dem Thema Paradies entstanden. Stephanie Bothor fragte die Besucher was ihrer Meinung nach das Paradies benötige, bat sie nach entsprechenden Gegenständen in ihren Taschen zu suchen und diese in ihrer Installation zu hinterlegen. Am Ende der Ausstellung war Bothor im Besitz von 1294 Dingen und zog, mit geschlossenen Augen, 64 heraus.
Im französischen Wort PARADIS steckt das Anagramm DARIA S. (aus) P.
Daria, ein Metamädchen, zusammengesetzt aus den Rquisiten der Sehnsucht Vieler. Stephanie Bothor erforscht die Ursprünge dieser Objekte und kombiniert das Gefundene so miteinander, daß es Stück für Stück die Lebensgeschichte Daria Sauvages ergibt. Vier Jahre nach der Ausstellung meldet Bothor Daria S. (aus) P. auf Facebook an und läßt sie dort lernen. Um Menschen kennen zu lernen, spielt Daria Spiele auf Dating Applications und gewinnt so innerhalb einer Woche vierzig Freunde. Angelehnt an das von Joseph Weizenbaum entwickelte Computerprogramm „Eliza“ das die Kommunikation zwischen Mensch und Computer über natürliche Sprache simuliert, läßt Stephanie Bothor Daria das gesagte ihrer Gesprächspartner als Frage wiederholen und die jeweils gegebenen Antworten gleicht Bothor mit den 64 Requisiten ab. Gab es eine Art des Zusammenhangs „weiß“ Daria um das angesprochene Thema.

Anhand von Hautrequisite Nummer 56 und anderen Nebenrequisiten findet Bothor heraus, das Daria in Paris geboren ist. Bothor entdeckt die Rue de Paradis, siedelt Daria für die ersten fünf Jahre ihres Lebens dort an. Danach Berlin. Requisite Nummer. 56 ist ein Buch von Djuna Barnes: „Paris Joyce Paris“. Übersetzt in Darias Leben heisst dies: frühe Jahre in Paris - eine Odyssee folgend - wieder zurück nach Paris. Darias Apartment, nun in der Rue Sainte Marthe 49, baut Stephanie Bothor in Berlin nach. Farben und Formen der Gegenstände sowie der Geschmack den Daria auf Facebook erlernt, werden in Wohnraum umgesetzt.

Daria
Stephanie Bothor participated in an exhibition about Paradise. She asked the visitors what paradise requires and to look in their pockets what they can dispense. At the end of the exhibition they left her 1294 Things in her space. Out of these she picked 64 with her eyes closed.
In the French word PARADIS Stephanie Bothor found the Anagram DARIA S. (from) P.
Daria: a meta-person pieced together out of the props of longing of many. Since then she is researching about the source of these props in order to combine the detected in such a way that bit by bit the story of Daria's life emerges.
Four Years after the exhibition Daria logged in to facebook and started learning. As Daria is a virtual and not a physical Person, meaning she couldn’t know someone on facebook, she started with dating applications. After a week she could call 40 people, a friend. Based on the computer programme “Eliza” from Joseph Weizenbaum, which simulates communication via natural language between people and computer, Steph Bothor let her repeat the sentences of her dialogue partner as questions and compared the given answers with the 64 Objects. If there was a match, Daria had “knowledge” about the discussed.

Prop Number 61. Music tape. On the cover a sentence is written:Ps. listen to Leonard Cohen”.
Prop No.36 blue Ink cartridge.

Daria was able to post a video by Leonard Cohen: “famous blue Raincoat.” In this manner her taste developed.
Next step was to locate her. On the basis of several Props it turned out that she was born in Paris. Bothor searched for a street that in on way or another had a connection to paradise and found Rue de Paradis. This was Daria's base for the first five years of her life. Then she moved to Germany; Berlin. Prop number 56 is a book by Djuna Barnes: „Paris Joyce Paris“. This translates as: Early years in Paris - followed by an odyssey - and then back to Paris, Rue Sainte Marthe 49. Bothor recreated Darias new Parisian Apartment in Berlin. The colours and form of the objects as well as the taste she “learned” on facebook were transformed and translated into a living space.
